Role Overview
Max Transtech Limited is looking for an experienced and strategic leader to head the Project Logistics vertical in India. The role will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing the end-to-end execution of complex logistics projects including ODC, heavy lift, and multimodal transportation.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals currently working within freight forwarding organizations who have extensive experience in handling project cargo and large-scale logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the Project Logistics / Project Cargo business across India
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market presence and revenue
- Drive business development, client acquisition, and key account management
- Manage end-to-end commercial processes including RFQs, tendering, pricing, and negotiations
- Design and oversee execution of complex logistics solutions involving ODC, heavy lift, and multimodal transportation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, chartering partners, transporters, and logistics vendors
- Ensure smooth project execution with a focus on cost efficiency, safety compliance, and timely delivery
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team across regions to ensure operational excellence
Candidate Profile
- 12–18+ years of experience in Project Logistics / Project Cargo within Freight Forwarding companies
- Strong expertise in ODC (Over Dimensional Cargo), Heavy Lift logistics, and EPC project logistics
- Proven track record of successfully managing large and complex logistics projects
- Strong commercial understanding with hands-on experience in tendering, pricing, and negotiations
- Prior leadership experience in roles such as Head / Director / Regional Head – Project Logistics
- Strong industry network and excellent stakeholder management capabilities
